content creationA great content marketing action plan involves lots of content, published every day, on various platforms. Each article or blog post must be original and of interest to people. However, there comes a moment when each content writer reaches a creative pit, known as the writer’s block.

It is not unusual, but it is annoying, especially when you are in the middle of a very precise content strategy and each article is critical. The key is not to panic and to realize that this is just momentary. Specialists in the content marketing world have various tips to help you get over your creativity blackout. Here are a few helpful ideas:

  • Do something different – When you focus on another task and let your creative part of the brain take a break, you will find your ideas and words easier after a time.
  • Write anything – It could be your shopping list or a pointless sequence of words. Do not worry if it sounds illogical, this is a manner of letting off some creative steam. After a quarter of an hour or so, you can return to your task and you will be able to find the right idea for your article.
  • Do not lose great ideas – Even if they are not connected to any task at hand, always carry a small notepad and a pencil and write any catchy phrase or other interesting idea you might use later on in your content marketing campaign.
  • Work out – A power walk in a park or 20 minutes on the treadmill will improve the blood flow to your brain, and get your creative juices flowing. When you get too immersed in content marketing, do not forget that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.
